About Monitor.Deals
Monitor.Deals is a website from Monitors Unboxed to help you find the best deals on gaming monitors. We have extensive experience testing monitors, with a history of producing high-quality, in-depth reviews on our channel, Monitors Unboxed. This website is designed to highlight deals on a selection of products that we think are worth buying at the right price, and to help you save money on your next monitor purchase.
How does Monitor.Deals work?
Monitor.Deals is a curated website. We list monitors on the homepage when we think the product at the current price is actually a good deal. We check a selection of deals every day, and frequently update the homepage to ensure the right products are being recommended, with fresh, up to date pricing information.
To feature on the homepage and qualify as a deal, a product must meet several criteria:
- The monitor is high quality and worth buying. This is based on our test data, reviews and general monitor knowledge.
- The current deal price is a genuine deal, not a fake discount relative to an inflated price
- The monitor is worth recommending at the deal price. Simply having a large discount off the normal price is not enough to get featured: the product must be good value at the listed deal price.
- The monitor must be available from a reputable retailer. We only show deals from retailers we trust.
Monitor.Deals fetches pricing from a variety of trusted retailers automatically, always showing the best price. Clicking through to the product page reveals more information about pricing from each retailer, and shows price history data that allows you to make an informed decision about the current level of discount shown.
Our website includes several features to make it easier to find monitor deals.
Featured Deals
This is a hand-picked label we apply to deals we feel are especially fantastic. This label is typically used for all-time low prices on highly recommended products. Applying this label promotes the monitor to the top of the homepage.
Recommendation Tiers
Monitor.Deals has a curated database of products that we are familiar with. We are adding monitors to this database constantly, as new products are released. Each product is labelled based on a level of recommendation we are comfortable providing.
Best in Class – The highest tier. This is a monitor that Monitors Unboxed has tested, analyzed and reviewed. It performed the best of all tested monitors with similar specs
Recommended – This is a monitor that Monitors Unboxed has tested, analyzed and reviewed. It performed well and has no major drawbacks.
Similar – Monitors Unboxed has not tested this monitor. However, its hardware is similar to products we have recommended. For example, it could be a minor product variant, or a product using a similar display panel.
No Label – This applies when we have not recommended the product. This doesn’t necessarily mean the product is bad: it may be something we conditionally recommend, or a product we aren’t deeply familiar with. Before purchasing an unlabelled monitor, you should research reviews.
Search Functionality
Even when we don’t feature a product on the homepage, you can still search for it or find it via product filters. This will allow you to check current pricing, and compare products of similar specifications.
Monitor.Deals is a free website with no ads. How is this possible?
Monitor.Deals has no advertising. We’ve done this because website ads suck, and we want to make it as easy as possible to find the best deals without distractions.
This website is funded through affiliate link commissions. This means we may earn a commission when you purchase a product through links we provide on this website. This is at no extra cost to you, and has no bearing on what deals are featured on the website. We always show the best prices and best deals, regardless of the commission.
Monitor.Deals is also subsidized by our YouTube channel Monitors Unboxed, and our Patreon members. If you want to sign up to support Monitors Unboxed and our independent testing, that would be greatly appreciated.
Most importantly, monitor manufacturers cannot pay to promote or feature products on this website. This is not a service we offer and will never be a service we offer. Monitor.Deals is made for consumers, it only shows good deals, not whatever product a manufacturer wants to promote. The ONLY way for a manufacturer to get their product on this website is to offer a great product at a great price.
Why should you trust Monitor.Deals?
This website is run by Tim from Monitors Unboxed. Tim curates the website personally, updates it daily, and has full control over the deals shown on the homepage. Monitors Unboxed has an extensive history of in-depth, independent product reviews. We do not accept money for paid reviews, and we never will, so the testing and opinions you see on our channel are genuine.
We do not just regurgitate spec sheets or provide a surface level analysis, our reviews are extensive and based on real-world test data. As of 2026 we have reviewed over 250 gaming monitors, covering every major release and panel type. Our hands-on experience informs the recommendations on this website.
Why doesn’t Monitor.Deals have a certain feature?
Monitor.Deals is a work in progress website. We are actively building it out with the features we want. If you are wondering why a certain feature is not currently available, that’s probably because we haven’t finished it yet. Here are some things we are working on
Why don’t you show deals from [insert retailer here]?
We’re actively adding more retailers to the website. This is not an easy task, as not all retailers we want to feature have accessible APIs that make it simple to integrate into our price tracking tools. However, we will not show deals from retailers we don’t trust.
Why doesn’t the website show deals from other countries?
We want to support other countries and are actively working to make that happen. For now, we have launched with support for US retailers, as that’s the largest audience for the Monitors Unboxed channel.
Why do some deals have a very high ‘before’ price, which leads to a suspicious discount percentage?
We are bound by the terms and conditions of the APIs we use to access pricing data. Some of these terms mandate the usage of prices provided through the API, including the ‘before’ price. Also, by showing you the before price and sale price from the retailer, this means the data we show will match what you see when you click through to the retailer, reducing confusion.
In any case, we’re mostly interested in the final sale price, and that forms the basis of whether a product is recommended on the homepage. A high discount percentage relative to the ‘before’ price is not enough to get featured on this website. You can also click through to the product pages we have created for each monitor, which include price history data. This data will allow you to make an informed decision about the deal being shown and gives you a better idea of the typical price for the product.
Why does the price history data exclude Amazon?
Unfortunately, Amazon do not allow caching of price data, which prevents Amazon’s inclusion in historical price statistics.
Is there a way to get notified when a product is available at a certain price?
This is a feature we want to add in the near future, so stay tuned. We want to do this in a way that doesn’t spam you.
